Fred Deck has been building a career in long term care since 1989.  Since that time, he has been licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in the states of Virginia, Massachusetts and New York.  He has had oversight of nursing homes ranging from 265 beds to 60 beds.  He has been actively involved with short term rehabilitation programs, specialized Alzheimer's Dementia care units, standard long term care delivery and adult day care operations.

Most of his career has been devoted to facilitating improvements for facilities faced with both operational challenges and poor regulatory compliance issues.  He has benefited from having some of the very best minds in nursing home administration as his supervisors early in his career. He has been able to blend that expertise with his own hands  on experiences to gain a solid grasp on many aspects of nursing home operations.  He has worked in for-profit and not-for-profit settings.  Over the past twenty years, he has observed the highest caliber of care and services as well as the very troubling mismanagement and misapplication of proper caregiving.

He has served on medical tribunals in the commonwealth of Massachusetts.  This involved the comprehensive review of allegations of abuse and neglect or mistreatment in a nursing home setting in which a judge, a nursing home expert and a legal expert all took testimony and determined if the case should proceed. Fred is qualified to  be an expert witness due to his extensive long term care management experience, his comprehensive grasp of federal and state regulations and having his own insights from delivering care and services to both residents and family members alike over the past several years.
